Believe it or not, a mind-controlled skateboard!
Dear CNET members,
I thought I would bring you some exciting news about the new iPad
release, but I'm not--as I'm sure you can get your fill from the writers at
CNET. What I want to bring your attention to is something even
the coolest Apple product can't top--at least for now.
Introducing the mind-blowing (no pun intended) Chaotic Moon Lab
mind-controlled skateboard! Just imagine this: you strap on a
neuroheadset that is connected to a Samsung tablet running
Windows 8, which is then connected to a motor on a skateboard.
And when you're ready, hop on the skateboard, and think of moving
forward, and off you go. Think stop and it stops. Now you can really
scream, "Look, ma, no hands or feet, just brain waves!"
Some of you are saying, neurologically transmitted commands? Yeah right!
Don't believe me? Check out a blog post from CNET executive editor
Molly Wood, "Board of Imagination: A mind-controlled skateboard. Seriously."
You should check out her demo video in the blog too. I don't know about you,
but this is just incredible technology and innovation, and all I can say is wow!
Can you imagine the possibilities of this technology once this product
is refined and put into our society? I'm not talking a skateboard only,
but other things--just simply use your imagination. What do you think
about this technology? Do you see yourself using something like this?
Besides using it on skateboards, where do you think this technology can
be applied in today's world? Do you have doubts about this
technology? Tell us what's on your mind.
Cheers!
-Lee
