This week in Mac software
If you're looking for a full-featured image editor at a relatively low price, Pixelmator fits the bill nicely. Sporting a smooth Mac-friendly interface, Pixelmator offers a layout much like Adobe Photoshop's, with separate toolbars offering standard selector and paint-brush-type tools, a color-picker, a layer manager, and a brush picker with large array of options, from "follow direction" to multiple jitter settings. This latest update features an all-new Healing Tool and several improvements to overall performance.

Also this week, we have the latest version of Typinator, an autotyping and autocorrecting application that can be a huge time-saver, sparing you from having to retype frequently used words and phrases.
