Dear CNET members,
Today, I'm going to share a tear with everyone--not of sadness but of joy! Why? Because of our completely revamped user opinions. It has been a long time in the making, and to be part of this renewal of an all-so-important community feature brings excitement to my heart as a CNET Community manager! The added features include a completely new product-rating system, the ability to allow you to rate the helpfulness of an opinion, member profiles, and much more. So check out what's new. My coworkers and I have put a lot of heart and devotion into bringing you this new experience--allowing important features such as the ability to share your opinions with your peers on the technology products that you use daily. So a big shout-out of thanks to them. We truly hope you enjoy this value-added experience as much as we enjoyed putting it together. Use it and use it well because your opinions absolutely count!

Some guys have all the luck. CNET user jcub managed to get his hands on a Sony PSP during a recent visit to Nogoya. Though he wishes it would have cost a little less, it's been love at first sight and has already taken the place of his iPod as his must-have gadget.

Music to our ears
Though several members have criticized the Creative Zen Micro 5GB's touch pad, CNET member bcguiles dotes on his iPod alternative. Though he warns that the touch pad takes some time to master, he loves the "middle ground" player because of its price, its portability, and its sound quality.
