Dear CNET members,
The holiday rush is upon us once again, and as much as I love the season of giving, shopping is not one of my interests (now that you know where I stand, check out this week's poll and tell us what you are least looking forward to this holiday season). What's even more agonizing is finding those perfect tech gifts for loved ones; with so many choices, my head hurts just thinking of the possibilities. So what I need from you is help for some great ideas for gadgets to give or even get this holiday season. With your participation in this community event, I'm sure those of us who need a hand would appreciate and benefit from your guidance. So jump on in and share with us: what gadgets and gear do you want this holiday? And when you're done posting, read what others have to say, and vote to tell us if it is, in fact, a good gift idea. Thanks for sharing!
This week's hot topic:
What tech gift do you want?
Each year we put together our CNET Holiday Gift Guide, which presents the hottest tech gift ideas for every budget. But this year, we added something new: the ability to share the list of gadgets and gear you'd like to receive. Several of you have already chimed in.

Good customer service does happen
Tom Merritt messed up his iTunes download of an episode of "Lost" and had no problems getting it back. In this day and age of DRM witch hunts, he was pleasantly surprised. Have an Apple story of your own? Good or bad, share it with us.
Your favorite music downloads
There's no limit to the styles of music you can download these days. But which downloads do you like best? Let us know your favorites, and vote on the choices of your fellow members.
Do you show only your best snapshots, or
do your friends see every last one?
You really enjoyed your last vacation, wedding, or bar mitzvah, and you shot hundreds of photos. Before you uploaded them to your favorite photo-sharing site or plopped them into a slide show, did you select the best few or did you include every last blurred, underexposed image?
